Beautiful dementia art from the event

On June 5th at The Harrison Galleries in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, an art event called “Painted Memories”  was held as a benefit for Caring Days Adult Daycare Center, the longest-running dementia daycare center in Alabama and a model for the nation.  This is the facility where Lester Potts, the father of Cognitive Dynamics President Daniel Potts, was a client and learned to paint watercolors.  Over 200 works of art were displayed, all of which were created by clients at the center who have dementia.  The proceeds from the sale of the art, and also The Broken Jar by Dr. Potts go to help support Caring Days and its programs, as well as the capital campaign to raise funds for a much-needed new building.
